Event Information

Title: [ECCTH] Concrete Floor Topical Treatments & Resurfacing Techniques

Session ID: ECCTH

Description:

Presented by Euclid Chemical Company.
Questions should be directed to Michael Weber at MWeber@EuclidChemical.com or 224-297-0848.

NEW for WOC 2023! The performance of a concrete floor depends on several factors…from selecting the right thickness to concrete mix design. One area that is not discussed as much is surface treatments that can affect strength and durability including products that are applied topically to concrete floors to achieve specific visuals and properties. Curing compounds, cure & seal products, densifiers (hardeners), epoxy coating, micro-topping, and decorative coatings are among these treatments.

Choice of technology depends on specific application and desired visuals, as well as exposure and load conditions. Various technologies along with case studies and specification guides for new and repair projects will be reviewed.

Topics to be discussed include:
curing plus cure & seal compounds
sealers and densifiers
epoxy and decorative coatings
resurfacing technologies
